What is myPersonalQuest?
myPersonalQuest is an app that was inspired by Brian Lynch hiking the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) in 2022. After getting off trail, he wanted to help other hikers. myPersonalQuest would help them fund and achieve their own experiences.
The Founder
Brian Lynch is a Silicon Valley professional with over 20
years of experience.
From startups to Fortune 500 companies, he has excelled in many roles. He has worked with and managed international teams across the globe including: UK, Finland, Singapore, and India. More recently, he served as IT Director at Xpliant then as an IT Security Consultant for eBay. These days, he is involved with launching myPersonalQuest, LLC.
Brian Lynch is also an experienced backpacker with lifetime love of hiking and the outdoors.
His interest started with day-hiking in Yosemite on family trips and various backpacking trips with the Boy Scouts. His Eagle Scout Project created a new hiking trail segment in what is now part of the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve. More recently, in 2022, he undertook a hike of the Pacific Crest Trail. These days, he can be found hiking Mt. Umunhum.
